This wonderful book shows you how to control the pressure speaking in public puts on all of us. It’s so thorough and well-articulated that everyone will find things to make them better at it. Marion Claire has identified and studied aspects of public presentation that many of us, even those with speaking experience, may not even be aware of. I have gained valuable insights.

Lucky me! I read Secrets of a Unique & Sexy Speaker before two public appearances, one in front of a hundred or so business people and the other before a board of 18. I chose several Speaking Tips to practice and test drive. While much of the book might have you nod in recognition, if you’re aware of your own "ticks" and have received feedback about your speaking, you will - as I did - benefit enormously from consistently applying these techniques to help you improve. As Marion Claire points out, speaking is a mental as well as physical sport that requires preparation to achieve greater freedom of expression. Thank you, Marion, for your thorough, practical and encouraging guidance.

Marion has a unique understanding of the fear that comes with performing in front of an audience. For many years she suffered from agoraphobia which, among other symptoms, made her too fearful to give a speech or make a presentation. She is now fully recovered and speaks and coaches from personal experience on overcoming anxiety while maintaining a successful career.
